We've been on both sides

A shop run by two people who left the faith and came back chooses differently from one run by people who never doubted. Nothing on this site is sentimental about faith, and nothing here is decorative.

A note in every parcel

Every find comes with its own printed card: where we came across it, who made it, what it's like after a year of use, and who we think it's for — with a verse at the foot, chosen for that object rather than for the season. Nothing on a marketplace comes with a reason.

We only sell what we've held

Every product was bought, used and lived with first, and most of them were found in person at a market or a gathering. That's why the catalogue is small, and why the descriptions tell you what's wrong with things too.

No discounts, ever

The price is the price, all year. You'll never find out later that it was cheaper on a Friday in November, and nobody in this shop will be pressured into anything. We keep the Church's calendar, not the retail one.

Send it back, we pay

If it isn't right for the person you had in mind, return it within 30 days and we cover the postage. We would genuinely rather it went to the right person.

Nothing goes on this site that we wouldn't give to someone in our own house. That is the entire promise, and it is the only one we make.
